Info
On October 19, 2027 at 3Arena in Dublin, Texas celebrate the 30th anniversary of White On Blonde with a set built around that era and the band’s big hits. Formed in Glasgow in the late 80s, they’ve always played that sweet spot between pop hooks and rock drive, carried by Sharleen Spiteri’s unmistakable voice and the band’s tight, radio-ready guitar sound. Expect the White On Blonde staples alongside the songs that mapped their rise from Southside and “I Don’t Want a Lover” through the 90s peak, plus later highlights from their long-running catalogue.
Joining them, Del Amitri bring their own Glasgow-made blend of chiming guitars, clean melodies and sharply observed, slightly worn-in lyrics. Built around Justin Currie’s songwriting, their set draws on the run that defined them from Waking Hours and Change Everything through Twisted and beyond, with the kind of concise, bittersweet pop-rock that turns the room into a singalong without trying too hard.
