Info
On May 4, 2027, Hazlett brings his indie-folk world to the Palais Montcalm - Maison de la musique in Québec. Born in Brisbane and now based in Stockholm, he writes songs that move on close-up emotions: doubt, nostalgia, the push and pull of relationships. Expect a set built around acoustic guitar, understated arrangements and a voice kept front and center, with just enough subtle electronic detail to stretch the folk frame.
Onstage, Hazlett’s tracks often grow by contrast, shifting from hushed, intimate verses into brighter, more open choruses without losing that late-night tenderness. The show draws on the early mood of the Thundering Hopes EP and the wider, pop-leaning palette of Bloom Mountain, keeping melody and breathing room at the heart of everything. A concert for anyone who likes their folk modern, direct, and quietly cinematic.
