Info
On May 24, 2028, Vanessa Mai brings her tour to Hanover’s Capitol and delivers exactly the mix she has stood for for years: Schlager as a foundation, with pop, dance, and electronic edges layered on top. On stage she comes across less as a classical Schlager singer and more as a performer who tells her songs through movement, tempo, and a clear visual dramaturgy.
From the Wolkenfrei days to her solo phase, she has opened her sound step by step: from straightforward, German-language hooklines to a more hybrid approach in which urban and R&B-adjacent tones also appear. Live, that means: big choruses to sing along to, driving beats, short intimate moments in between, and lyrics that do not hedge relationships and closeness. Those who know Vanessa Mai know: this is not a nostalgic look back, but a current pop set with Schlager DNA.
