Info
CHVRCHES land in Bristol on May 4, 2027, for a night at O2 Academy Bristol that should hit right where synthpop meets sharp-edged alt-pop. Since breaking out from Glasgow with early tracks like “The Mother We Share” and “Lies”, the trio has kept refining that mix of bright electronic rush and a darker undertow, moving from the tight hooks of The Bones of What You Believe to the more pop-forward turns on Love Is Dead.
Live, it’s all about the trio’s balance: Lauren Mayberry’s clear, direct vocals at the center, Iain Cook shaping the widescreen textures, and Martin Doherty adding melodic counterpoints and vocal lines that push the songs into new angles. Expect a set that can jump from singalong choruses to moodier, late-era tension, with that Screen Violence-era shadow still lingering in the synth glow.
