Info
On October 16, 2027, at Utilita Arena Newcastle, Texas bring their Glasgow-born pop rock back on stage, carried by Sharleen Spiteri’s instantly recognizable voice and that mix of tight guitars and big, direct melodies. Expect a set that moves between early breakthroughs and later highlights, with the band’s knack for turning everyday feelings into songs that stick—whether you came up on their late-80s lift-off or discovered them through the ‘90s run that put them at the top of the UK charts.
Joining them the same night, Del Amitri lean into their trademark balance of chiming guitars, sharp pop writing and a quietly worn-in kind of storytelling. Built around Justin Currie’s songwriting, their catalog runs from Waking Hours through the ‘90s peak years and into their more recent return, with that familiar blend of melody and melancholy that’s made their songs travel well on both sides of the Atlantic.
