Info
Ruby Waters brings her guitar-led songs to Burton Cummings Theatre in Winnipeg on April 2, 2027, for a set that sits right between indie rock bite and alternative pop immediacy, with a few folk and soul shades in the mix. Her writing goes straight to the point: relationships, disillusionment, those rough patches you don’t dress up with fancy words, carried by a deep, husky voice that stays front and center. Live, her tracks can shift from stripped-back ballads to more rock-leaning moments, keeping the same direct delivery and tight pop structures. Whether she leans acoustic or plugs in for something more electric, the core stays the same: simple riffs, a steady groove with a light R&B touch, and melodies built to hit without overexplaining. This Winnipeg date is a good chance to catch an artist who moves easily between intimate confession and full-band energy.
