Info
On April 26, 2027 in Toronto, The Wombats hit the stage at History to celebrate the 20th anniversary of A Guide to Love, Loss & Desperation, the record that put their Liverpool trio on the map. Expect that early rush of sharp, melodic indie rock: guitars up front, tight rhythms, choruses that land fast, and that mix of irony and everyday anxiety that runs through their songs. It’s a chance to hear the album’s punchy energy in full, while catching how their sound has stretched over the years, from nervous post‑punk angles to cleaner, more synth-leaning pop without losing the groove.
Joining them, The Lathums bring their northern-English guitar-band touch from Wigan: chiming riffs, direct melodies, and a set that can switch from restrained tension to open-armed pop-rock momentum. With songs built for singing along without trying too hard, they’ll warm the room with a bright, rhythmic counterpoint before The Wombats take over for the anniversary run.
