The Kilkennys – Music of Ireland Tour 2027
The Kilkennys, comprising Davey Cashin, Tommy Mackey, Mick Martin and Jason Turk, celebrate the musical spirit of Ireland during their performances at Music Hall Worpswede in Worpswede on 16 October 2027, ranging from classic ballads to contemporary folk anthems. Known for their modern interpretation of traditional Irish folk music, they have earned a reputation over the years as a live band from their homeland.
Even after more than 25 years together, their passion for live performances remains undiminished. After the band celebrated its 25th anniversary with a commemorative album and a commemorative tour, The Kilkennys return in 2027 on their Music of Ireland Tour to international stages.
Since Germany has long been a second home for the band, they will visit in October 2027 for thirteen shows, their home away from home, making stops in Hanover, Berlin, Hamburg, Oldenburg, Worpswede, Cologne, Dortmund, Mannheim, Karlsruhe, Freiburg, Stuttgart, Nuremberg and Aschaffenburg.
Fans can look forward to their distinctive harmonies, their musical understanding of one another, and new material that has emerged since the release of their anniversary album.
