Info
On November 21, 2026, Too Many Zooz lands at Théâtre Fairmount in Montreal with its brass-house that blurs the lines between urban brass, funk, and club pulsations. Born in the tunnels of the New York subway, the trio led by baritone saxophonist Leo Pellegrino, trumpeter Matt Doe, and percussionist David 'King of Sludge' Parks plays mostly instrumental, with brass riffs looping, a bassline on the sax, and a dry groove that flirts as much with hip-hop as with electro.
On stage, the energy comes from the collective: it moves in rhythmic blocks, hooks quickly, and transforms simple motifs into a rising, continuous build, somewhere between street jazz and dance culture. From their viral Union Square videos to international tours, Too Many Zooz has kept this taste for direct, raw, physical performance, which is also evident on Subway Gawdz and their numerous independent releases.
