Info
Fat Dog returns to the stage with new tracks and an expanded lineup, still led by Joe Love. On March 14, 2027 at the Rockstore in Montpellier, the London group rekindles what defines them: a tense, nervy blend of post-punk and dance-punk boosted by upfront electronic sounds. It hits hard and moves straight ahead, between taut synth lines, rhythms leaning toward the rave, and more unexpected eruptions, notably when the saxophone slips motifs almost klezmer into the middle of the chaos.
Born in London in 2020, Fat Dog has built a reputation for live intensity, after supporting slots for Sports Team, Yard Act or Viagra Boys, then a signing with Domino. From tracks 'King of the Slugs', 'All the Same', or 'Running' up to the album WOOF, the group thrives on danceable repetition and an unapologetic fondness for the absurd, without losing its rock edge. In Montpellier, expect a compact, physical set designed to move the crowd as much as to shake it.
