Info
Orbital land in Birmingham for a live set at O2 Institute Birmingham on April 22, 2027, bringing the Hartnoll brothers’ long-running electronic language back to the stage. Born out of the late-80s UK rave moment, the Kent duo built a sound that moves between techno drive, breakbeat snap, and wide-screen ambient, with tracks that evolve slowly and feel as narrative as they are physical. Expect that signature balance: melodies that stick, rhythms that shift, and extended builds designed for both deep listening and full-room momentum. Across decades and a few restarts, Orbital have kept their live identity front and center, turning studio detail into something direct and kinetic. This Birmingham date is a chance to hear that catalogue as it’s meant to hit: as a flowing, time-stretching performance rather than a playlist.
