Info
On January 28, 2027, Chuck Ragan lands at Whelan’s in Dublin with that rare mix of punk grit and acoustic warmth. Known first as a co-singer and guitarist in Hot Water Music, he’s spent years shaping a solo sound where folk-punk meets Americana, indie rock, and a touch of country, always carried by a voice made for singalongs and late-night stories.
Expect narrative songwriting that sticks to real-life themes: life on the road, work, and the ties that hold communities together. From the stripped-back drive of Feast or Famine through the broader folk-rock sweep of Gold Country and Covering Ground, Ragan’s set usually moves between intimate moments and bigger, band-like surges.
He’s also the force behind The Revival Tour, a roaming spirit of collaboration that echoes in his shows: direct, shared, and built for a room that wants to feel involved rather than just watch from the side.
