Info
Orbital land in Bournemouth on April 23, 2027 at O2 Academy Bournemouth, bringing the Hartnoll brothers’ long-running electronic language back to the stage. Born out of late-’80s UK rave culture, the duo built a sound that moves between techno drive, breakbeat snap and ambient drift, with tracks designed to develop over time rather than hit in quick drops. Expect the show to lean into that narrative flow: sequences that slowly lock together, melodic hooks that feel almost pop without losing the grit, and those shifts in mood that made their early records such a reference point.
From the era of “Chime” and the first two self-titled albums through wider, more political textures on Snivilisation and In Sides, Orbital have always treated live performance as more than playback. This date is a chance to hear that evolution in real time, with the duo’s festival-tested energy translated into a club-sized room.
