On March 5, 2027, at Limelight in Belfast, Fionn Regan brings his intimate brand of songwriting to the stage, with that close-to-the-mic feel where the voice and the guitar do most of the work. Since the early 2000s, the Irish songwriter has built a sound rooted in acoustic folk and spare ballads, carried by vivid imagery and a sense of detail that makes each song play like a small scene.
From the sober arrangements of his debut The End of History (2006) to the rougher, tighter edge of The Bunkhouse Vol. 1: Anchor Black Tattoo (2012), Regan has never stayed in one lane. In more recent years, he’s opened the frame with airier textures and ambient-leaning shades on The Meetings of the Waters (2017), then Cala (2019), leading up to O AVALANCHE (2024). Expect a set that moves between traditional folk instincts and subtle, modern shifts, always direct, always song-first.
