Info
Supergrass are back in Glasgow on 28 April 2027, and the Barrowland Ballroom feels like the right room for a band that’s always mixed bite with melody. Born in Oxford in the early 90s around Gaz Coombes, Mick Quinn and Danny Goffey, they came up fast with “Caught by the Fuzz” and the rush of I Should Coco, then stretched out on In It for the Money, where the writing got sharper and the arrangements started to open up.
On stage, that whole arc makes sense: tight, hooky songs built to move, but with enough twists to keep things lively. Over the years they’ve pulled in shades of psychedelia, glam and a more reflective edge without losing the snap of their alternative rock core. Since reuniting in 2019, Supergrass have leaned into what they do best: concise riffs, choruses that land, and a proper band chemistry that turns a set into something more than a nostalgia lap.
