Info
On October 22, 2026, Marlon Hoffstadt will land at The Loft in Amsterdam for a back-to-back set with a Special Guest. From Berlin, Hoffstadt has been shaping his own take on club music since the early 2010s, positioned somewhere between house, high-tempo trance, and nods to eurodance. He first drew notice with “Shake That” (2013, with Dansson), after which, through a variety of releases, he founded his own platforms: Retrograde and later Midnight Themes, where his sound really took shape.
In recent years, he has shifted toward higher tempos, direct vocals, and melodies that linger right away—a path he also continues under his alias DJ Daddy Trance. Expect no detours or long-winded experiments, but a set that is all about momentum and keeping the dancefloor tightly in hand. His album “Planet Love” (2023) serves as a good reference point: trance, pop, and techno in one flow, made for going full throttle.
