Info
On April 25, 2027, Salvador Sobral brings his singular voice to The Old Market in Brighton. Lisbon-born and shaped by years in Barcelona, he’s built a musical world where jazz phrasing meets the grain of fado and the softness of acoustic pop, always with that flexible, intimate sense of timing that makes his songs breathe.
You might know him from his 2017 Eurovision win with Amar pelos dois, but his path has stayed firmly on the side of nuanced songwriting and live performance. On stage, Sobral leans into spontaneity: lines can stretch, harmonies can shift, and the emotional tone can turn on a subtle inflection. Expect a set that moves between delicate, stripped-back moments and jazz-tinted improvisation, carried by a voice that doesn’t force anything, yet says a lot.
