On October 23, 2026, Standard Time in Toronto hosts a night built around TOKiMONSTA’s signature blend of beat culture and forward-leaning electronic music. Los Angeles-based producer Jennifer Lee came up through the West Coast underground, where the Low End Theory and Project Blowed circles shaped her taste for off-kilter rhythms, tight bass, and chopped, melodic fragments. That background still shows in her sets: hip-hop swing meets sleek electronica, with room for hazy textures, left-field drops, and moments that feel closer to a live remix than a fixed playlist. From the Brainfeeder era to more recent releases on her own Young Art imprint, she’s kept moving between instrumental cuts and vocal-driven productions, folding in pop angles without losing the grit of the beat scene.
