Info
The Sound Society invites Ivan Smagghe and Vladimir Ivkovic for a back-to-back all-night set at Village Underground Barcelona.
Two selectors with their own personal musical languages, a shared disregard for genre boundaries, and a reputation for taking the dance floor to unexpected places.
Ivan Smagghe has spent decades developing what could almost be described as a style without style: moving between dark records, electronics, new wave, psychedelia, techno, and odd corners of club music without losing sight of the dance floor.
Vladimir Ivkovic approaches DJing with an equally open philosophy, digging beyond obvious genres and eras, building sets through unexpected connections rather than predictable formulas.
Bringing them together for a back-to-back all night offers a different proposition.
No predetermined journey and no obvious destination. Records that respond to records, ideas that collide, tension that builds and then fades away again. Two singular musical minds with enough time to take risks, change direction, and find that dancefloor alchemy that can only happen when no one knows what comes next.
Ivan Smagghe b2b Vladimir Ivkovic. All night long.
Presented through The Sound Society's sound system, inspired by the spirit of Paradise Garage and crafted for those who truly listen.
