On May 1, 2027, bp pulse LIVE welcomes a full-on early-2000s throwback with Hear’Say and Liberty X sharing the bill for “Popstars: the Originals”.
Hear’Say come back to the stage with the punchy, TV-born pop that made them a quick-fire phenomenon at the start of the decade: big singalong hooks, glossy production, and that unmistakable “single-first” energy. Expect the set to lean into the tracks that defined their Popstars run, from the instant rush of “Pure and Simple” to the bright, straight-to-radio feel of “The Way to Your Love”.
Liberty X bring the flip side of the same story: a pop-R&B blend built on tight choruses, soulful grooves and dancefloor touches. With Kevin Simm, Tony Lundon, Michelle Heaton and Jessica Taylor keeping the legacy alive, the show is set to revisit the era’s staples, from “Thinking It Over” and “Doin’ It” to the still-untouchable “Just a Little”, plus later cuts that pushed them toward sleeker electronic pop.
