Info
On February 22, 2027, Night Lovell lands at Scala in London with the kind of set built for late-night moods and heavy low-end. The Ottawa-born rapper has carved out his own lane since the early 2010s, sitting somewhere between hip-hop, trap, cloud rap, grime and slowed-down phonk. Expect slow tempos, a deep voice up front, and production that leans into haze, tension and dark melodies rather than big hooks.
His breakthrough track “Dark Light” set the tone back in 2014, and the same shadowy aesthetic runs through releases like Concept Vague, Red Teenage Melody, Goodnight Lovell, Just Say You Don’t Care and I Hope You’re Happy. Live, those tracks translate into a thick, minimal atmosphere where introspection meets something more abrasive underneath. If you’re into internet rap’s darker corners and bass that lingers, this London date should hit the mark.
