Info
On May 4, 2027, Utilita Arena Birmingham hosts Rod Stewart for “The Final Encore”, a show that leans into the long arc of a London-born voice that’s been moving between rock, folk, soul and pop since the 60s. Expect a set shaped by his classic run from the early solo years through the stadium-ready era, with that unmistakable raspy delivery and a taste for reinterpretations that’s always been part of his DNA. It’s the kind of night built on big choruses, loose rock energy and the ballads that helped him shift from British R&B roots to a more mainstream, American-facing sound.
Also on the bill: Howard Jones, known for a very different kind of intensity. Coming from the US metalcore scene, he’s made his name with a vocal style that jumps from clean lines to screams and growls, and with years at the front of bands like Killswitch Engage and Light the Torch. A sharp contrast in tone, and a solid way to kick the room into motion before the main set.
