Info
On March 15, 2027, Will Young brings his pop-soul world to Ipswich Regent Theatre, with a show built around the voice and the craft that have defined his career since the early 2000s. First known to a wide audience after winning the first UK season of Pop Idol, he’s long moved beyond the TV tag, shaping a sound where adult pop melodies meet light soul phrasing and, at times, sleek electro touches.
Expect a set that can shift gears easily: songs made for big choruses and clean hooks, then sudden turns into quieter, more intimate moods. Across albums like From Now On, Friday’s Child, Keep On, and Echoes, he’s explored danceable arrangements as much as restrained, late-night pop, keeping the focus on interpretation and nuance. It’s that balance—warmth, precision, and a taste for modern textures—that makes a Will Young live date feel like a proper conversation with British pop.
