Info
On July 2, 2027, Pink Martini brings its cosmopolitan big-band energy to London’s Royal Albert Hall. Formed in Portland in the 1990s, the ensemble has always treated the stage like a travel itinerary: jazz as a base, then a smooth slide into retro Latin grooves, lounge pop, and rhythms borrowed from all over. With a full multi-musician lineup and a vocalist at the center, their concerts play like a sharp, live soundtrack—danceable one minute, tender the next, always built on tight arrangements and that classic, slightly vintage swing.
Expect the band to revisit the spirit of Sympathique and its signature “Je ne veux pas travailler,” along with the broader repertoire that made them a favorite on international stages. At the Royal Albert Hall, this is less about nostalgia than about the pleasure of hearing an orchestra-sized group move effortlessly between styles, turning each song into a new stop on the route.
