Info
On April 3, 2027, Jack Kays lands at Gorilla in Manchester with a set that’s built for people who like their guitars nervous and their hooks blunt. The Cincinnati artist moves in a space where indie rock, hip-hop phrasing, pop-punk bite and emo tension overlap, switching naturally between melodic singing and quick, spoken flows.
After breaking out around 2020 and sharpening his sound across releases like Mixed Emotions, the Voice Memos EPs, and later projects such as Caffeine and the Deadbeat! discs, he’s developed a direct writing style that doesn’t hide behind metaphors. Expect songs that lean into mental health, isolation, and dependency themes, carried by big choruses and tight, alternative production. Live, the energy comes through in a full band setup, pushing that mix of confessional pop-punk and modern rap-rock into something made for the room.
