Info
On May 2, 2027, The Rock Orchestra brings its “By Candlelight” show to Slush Puppie Place in Kingston, turning rock and metal staples into a full-on orchestral ride. Born in the UK in the early 2020s, the project works like a collective rather than a fronted band: strings take the lead, backed by drums and guitars, pushing the sound somewhere denser and rougher than a classic symphony setup.
The idea is simple and pretty unique in execution: familiar riffs and choruses get rebuilt into cinematic arrangements, while the stage leans into a dark, theatrical atmosphere lit by candlelight. Costumes, masks, and big visual cues borrow from macabre imagery, blurring the line between concert and immersive performance. Expect a set built around reworked classics, played with the intensity of a rock gig and the precision of an orchestra.
