Info
Bruce Cockburn brings his songwriting to Kelowna Community Theatre in Kelowna on April 13, 2027, for a set built around the kind of folk craft he’s been refining since the late 60s. A Canadian singer-songwriter and guitarist from Ottawa, Cockburn has always moved freely between acoustic intimacy and broader colors, folding rock and jazz touches into fingerstyle playing that stays front and center.
On stage, his songs tend to travel through different decades of his catalogue: the early acoustic writing that put him on the map in the 70s, the sharper edge he explored in the 80s with more electric textures, and the later records where political observation sits next to inner reflection and vivid landscapes. Expect a concert that leans on storytelling, rhythm, and guitar work, with room for both quiet moments and more driven passages.
