Info
Founded between Beirut and Zurich by Raed Yassin and Paed Conca, Praed occupy a particular place in contemporary experimental music. Crossing Arabic shaabi, free jazz, electronics, and psychedelia, the duo draws on popular traditions and trance music from the Middle East to create a language of their own, where improvisation, repetition, and electronic manipulation converge into a hypnotic and unpredictable flow.
