Info
Beth Orton once again takes the lead with her songs on The Ground Above, the album she will perform live on 16 November 2026 at Sala Villanos in Madrid. Since the 1990s, the British artist has known how to move between intimate folk and a production with an electronic pulse, without forcing the blend: acoustic guitar, subtle rhythms, layers of synthesizers, and that softly hushed voice that always sounds intimate.
In this show, the focus is on her most recent period, which arrives after Weather Alive (2022) and gathers everything that defines her: direct songwriting, arrangements with room to breathe, and a balance between the organic and the digital that is very much her own. A night to hear up close how her songbook transforms on stage, with that note of folktronica and alternative pop that has accompanied her since Trailer Park, but anchored in the present.
