Info
Kamelot will perform at Fållan in Johanneshov on March 13, 2027, with their Dark Asylum World Tour, and bring with them the symphonic and progressive metal world they have built over three decades. The band has always worked with grand melodies, orchestral textures, and stories that lean toward the cinematic, and live it becomes especially evident how they weave together the theatrical with heavy riffs and drive.
The tour revolves around Dark Asylum, their fourteenth studio album, where the listener steps behind the walls of RavenHill Asylum: a Victorian nightmare of high vaulted ceilings, candlelight and cold corridors where identity shatters and reality begins to slip. With Swedish Tommy Karevik on vocals since 2012, the songs gain both sharpness and drama, and tonight's set is likely to range between new material and classic chapters from Kamelot's catalog.
As support, Swedish Cyhra stands, formed in 2016 by, among others, Jesper Strömblad and vocalist Jake E. With their melodic, modern metal and the latest album Requiem for a Pipe Dream in tow, they warm up with tight refrains and a sound that sits as much in the songwriting as in the energy on stage.
