DragonForce land at KK’s Steel Mill in Wolverhampton on 7 May 2027 for a night built around speed, precision, and that hyper-melodic power metal rush they’ve made their trademark. Founded in London by guitar duo Herman Li and Sam Totman, the band’s sound is all twin-lead guitar fireworks, ultra-fast rhythms, and big choruses that lean into fantasy imagery and a playful, arcade-like energy. Live, it’s less about posturing and more about tight execution: riffs at full throttle, solos that don’t let up, and a set that nods to the era that took them global as well as their more recent chapters.
Joining the bill, Visions of Atlantis bring their symphonic metal worldbuilding to Wolverhampton the same night. Built on sweeping orchestrations, power-metal bite, and seafaring atmospheres, the Graz outfit has long leaned into storytelling, now carried by the dual-vocal pairing of Clémentine Delauney and Michele Guaitoli. Expect cinematic hooks, choral lift, and a stage presence that turns songs into scenes.
