Info
The Rock Orchestra By Candlelight lands in Thunder Bay at the Thunder Bay Community Auditorium on May 13, 2027, with a show built around orchestral reworks of rock and metal staples. The idea is simple: take songs you know from loud stages and rebuild them with strings at the core, backed by drums and guitars for a thicker, more physical sound than a straight symphony setup.
Created in the early 2020s by Nathan Reed, the project leans into a dark, theatrical “by candlelight” atmosphere: low light, costumes, masks, and big visuals that make the set feel like a live performance and a piece of immersive staging at the same time. On stage, it works as a collective rather than a front-person band, keeping the focus on the ensemble and the arrangements. Expect a night that sits somewhere between a rock gig and an orchestral spectacle, with the candlelit mood tying it all together.
