On May 28, 2027 at Concorde 2 in Brighton, Love returns to the stage through Love with Johnny Echols, the longest-running band devoted to Arthur Lee’s repertoire, led by founding guitarist Johnny Echols. The set digs into the heart of the catalogue: key songs from Love, Da Capo and Four Sail, with a strong focus on Forever Changes, revisited live with the sharp guitars, tight vocal lines and that uneasy melodic tension that made the band stand out in mid-60s Los Angeles.
This lineup isn’t about playing it safe. Alongside Echols, Baby Lemonade bring the experience of the years they spent backing Arthur Lee from 1993 until his death in 2006, when they helped spark a new wave of interest in these songs. Expect familiar highlights, deeper cuts and a few curveballs, delivered with the kind of energy that keeps pulling new listeners into Love’s world.
