Info
On 1 October 2026, Hoxton Hall hosts a stripped-back moment with Andrew Fisher, the voice and core songwriter behind Basement. Known for balancing clear melodies with heavy guitars and the push-pull of emo, grunge and melodic hardcore, Fisher brings that same tension into a more intimate setting, where the words and the dynamics get to sit right up front.
Across Basement’s run, from Songs About the Weather and I Wish I Could Stay Here through Colourmeinkindness, the comeback on Further Sky and the wider alt-rock turn of Promise Everything and Beside Myself, his writing has always leaned on emotional friction, tempo shifts, and hooks that don’t feel forced. Expect a set that reframes those songs without losing their bite, closer to the raw room-energy Basement built their reputation on.
