Info
Winter Gardens blend the hazy textures of dream-pop with the urgency and drive of post-punk. Their sound moves fluidly between shimmering shoegaze atmospheres and propulsive, rhythm-led intensity, balancing moments of introspection with bursts of raw energy. Layers of reverb-soaked guitars and melodic basslines intertwine with driving percussion, creating a sound that feels both expansive and immediate.
Winter Gardens capture a sense of movement and release, with equal parts tension and lift, resulting in a distinctive dreampunk style.
Drawing inspiration from bands like Mazzy Star, The Sundays, The Breeders, and The Smashing Pumpkins, the London-born, Brighton-based artist Opal Mag is making her mark on the indie scene with emotionally charged music, combining dreamy, atmospheric sounds with raw, confessional lyrics.
