Info
On October 8, 2026, at Clwb Ifor Bach in Cardiff, Sebastian Schub brings his folk-leaning, indie-tinted songwriting to the stage, with support opening the night. Hamburg-born and London-based, he writes in a straight, singer-songwriter tradition: acoustic guitar up front, melodies that don’t overcomplicate things, and a deep, gravelly voice that carries the weight of the lyrics.
A lot of these songs were first tested the old way, out in the open: busking across London and Dublin, then sharpening them at open mics around Camden, where performance really matters. That live groundwork still shows in how direct his set feels, moving between contemporary folk, acoustic pop, and subtle rock edges. Expect a show built around presence and interpretation, with the kind of intimacy that fits a room like this.
