Info
Ride are back on stage in Bournemouth on February 12, 2027, at O2 Academy Bournemouth, bringing that unmistakable Oxford shoegaze rush into a loud, melodic live setting. Built around the constant dialogue between Mark Gardener and Andy Bell’s guitars and voices, the band’s sound balances saturation and pop drive: big walls of texture, hooks that cut through the haze, and a rhythm section that keeps everything moving even when the songs feel like they’re floating.
Expect the set to lean into the band’s classic early-90s identity, where bright melodies meet blurred edges, while leaving room for the later chapters of their story too. From the dense, airy tension that made Nowhere and Going Blank Again so defining, to the more direct rock turn they explored mid-90s and the renewed energy of their post-reunion records, Ride’s live show is about contrasts: clarity versus noise, lift versus weight, and that sweet spot where dream pop and alternative rock collide.
