Jhariah arrives in Cologne on 13 October 2026 at the Garage Club, bringing with him his own crossover of alternative rock, punk, emo, and theatrical pop on stage with “The Trust Ceremony UK / EU Tour.” The project is led by Jhariah Clare, who enjoys building songs as small, over-the-top stories: hard guitars meet electronic breaks, catchy refrains drift into cabaret-inflected passages, then back to DIY energy.
Those who have discovered him through earlier releases such as “The Great Tale of How I Ruined It All” or the “Beginner’s Guide” EPs will experience live exactly this principle in a condensed form: tempo and mood shifts, clear hooks, and a dramaturgy that recalls a stage play more than a normal set. At the center is, of course, the material around “TRUST CEREMONY” (2024), with which Jhariah further explores his fondness for sonic contrasts and conceptual storytelling.
