Info
On August 17, 2027, at Scarborough Open Air Theatre in Scarborough, Simply Red bring their soul-pop songcraft back to the stage, built around Mick Hucknall’s unmistakable voice and a catalog that moves between blue-eyed soul, soft rock, and sleek, grown-up grooves. Expect a set that leans on the band’s melodic classics from the late 80s and early 90s, with that refined, warm-band feel they’ve kept alive through decades of lineup changes.
Sharing the bill, London collective Soul II Soul reconnect the dots between sound system culture, street-soul and dancefloor pressure. Guided by Jazzie B, their live show revives the era where soul, R&B, hip-hop and reggae attitude blended into one unmistakably British pulse, with the signature hooks that made “Keep On Movin’” and “Back to Life” timeless crowd moments.
