When people talk about symphonic metal, Epica quickly comes back into the conversation. For its 25th anniversary, the Dutch group lands at Antwerp's Lotto Arena on September 24, 2027 with The Symphonic Synergy Tour, conceived as a direct meeting between its massive riffs and a symphony orchestra.
Led by the voice of Simone Simons and the writing of Mark Jansen, Epica has built a recognizable style: an intense metal sound interwoven with orchestral arrangements, choirs, contrasts between lyrical singing and growls, and an often narrative approach. On stage, these songs take on a particular grandeur, between rhythmic tension and cinematic movements.
This date in Antwerp opens the tour and promises a more organic reinterpretation of the repertoire, where the band's power and the symphonic precision meet head-on, without detours and as close as possible to what has defined Epica since its beginnings.
