Info
On October 5, 2026, Jimmy Sax arrives in Berlin to perform at Säälchen, bringing precisely the kind of live set in which saxophone and electronic beats do not run side by side, but together form a genuine club language. The project is led by the French saxophonist and composer Jim Rolland, who as a multi-instrumentalist blends melodic house and deep house with instrumental pop and subtle jazz touches. Live, it is not a pure concert to watch: Jimmy Sax plays with long, improvised passages, quickly revisits themes, and seeks direct interaction with the audience. His shows are dance-oriented, physical, and build a dynamic in which the acoustic saxophone continually pulls against the electronic energy. If you have known him so far mainly from singles or collaborations, you’ll get the full on‑stage version here: tight, dynamic, with a focus on groove and melody.
