Warhaus, the Belgian project led by Maarten Devoldere (also known for Balthazar), lands in London at Electric Ballroom on February 26, 2027. Since 2016, he’s been shaping songs that sit between indie rock, nocturnal pop and hushed folk, with subtle electronic touches. Live, the focus is on that deep, close-mic voice and on arrangements that leave space for tension: slow-burn ballads, discreet grooves, and a kind of cinematic mood that never forces the feeling.
From early tracks like The Good Lie through the albums We Fucked a Flame Into Being and Warhaus, the writing has stayed intimate and direct. More recently, Ha Ha Heartbreak and Karaoke Moon have pushed that same restrained style into richer, film-like textures. On stage, Warhaus typically expands into a full band drawn from Devoldere’s circle, turning these late-night songs into something more physical, without losing their quiet edge.
