On July 7, 2027, The Hooters bring their Europe Summer Tour, "Every Ticket Tells A Story," to Bremen's Seebühne Bremen, celebrating 47 years of band history. Since 1980, the Philadelphia crew has stood for a sound that fuses rock with ska and reggae influences, without losing the pop hook: driving grooves, guitars and keyboards, plus the distinctive melodica timbre. At the heart are the two songwriters and frontmen Rob Hyman and Eric Bazilian, who have shaped the catalog from "Nervous Night" to later releases. In concert this means classics such as "All You Zombies," "Day By Day" or "And We Danced" meeting material from "Rocking & Swing" and newer chapters such as the single "Pendulum." With the current lineup and fresh arrangements the show remains a direct, danceable rock show — seasoned, but not slick, carried by a band that still treats the stage as its natural home.
