On October 9, 2026, the Ghetto House Special lands at BASIS in Utrecht with a lineup that sounds straight out of Detroit. DJ Assault returns for an extended set: fast, tight rhythms, heavy bass and that signature mix of electro, Detroit techno, Miami bass and hip-hop that he helped shape ghettotech with since the 1990s. His sets feel like a succession of short hooks, raw vocal cuts and drive, built for a dance floor that won’t stop moving.
Next to him stands DJ Godfather, a key figure from the same scene, known for his direct production style and his turntablism in the booth. Expect a sound where Detroit electro and Chicago booty bass meet at high BPMs, with repetition as a weapon and a focus on momentum. Together they deliver an evening centered on tempo, punch and pure club functionality.
