Info
Friday, September 11 at La Suite will be a night when the tension gradually rises, from techno textures to savage kicks, through hard techno, acid sounds and frapcore, up to the boundaries of hardcore. A build-up designed to make the dancefloor vibrate from the first pulse to the last kick, with Noctam opening the ball, Urumi in peaktime, and Jepeto delivering an uncompromising closing.
Urumi has established herself in recent years as a singular figure on the new French electronic scene. A producer and DJ with boundless energy, she develops a dark, visceral, and danceable universe at the crossroads of French rap and electronic music. After residencies in Berlin and Pacha Ibiza, she has crisscrossed the French and European dancefloors, including appearances at Trans Musicales, We Love Green, Primavera Sound, Solidays or Ardentes.
With her project RAP2RAVE, Urumi asserts an identity by merging techno, trance and frapcore, notably remixing Hamza, Zola, Ateyaba or La Fève. Signed to the All Night Long label alongside artists like Trym, TDJ or Acid Arab, she continues today to explore the frontiers of hard music with sets that are powerful, fast and unpredictable, where techno meets French rap in a constant tension and energy.
Jepeto has been shaking dancefloors for more than a decade. His universe has especially taken shape around gabber, frapcore and industrial hardcore. With raw, uncompromising productions, several releases and collaborations with Trypod, Jepeto confirms a clearly marked artistic evolution. His sets are sonic offensives, capable of moving from rave to ravaging kicks without losing the energy on the dancefloor. He will take the closing, blending gabber, frapcore, hardcore and BPM running freely.
Noctam, an active member of the WestSound crew and president of Unanenn (the alliance of Brest-based collectives), develops dark, hypnotic and immersive techno. Inspired notably by the worlds of Function, Oscar Mulero or Giorgio Gigli, he builds precise and radical sets, where textures, deep bass and repetitive rhythms gradually plunge the dancefloor into a mental and physical atmosphere. For this night, he challenges himself to go further in his selection, seeking more power and speed. A central figure in the Brest collective scene, he will be there to link the different facets of the night and progressively push the room toward the darkest and most hard-hitting territories of techno.
