Fearlessly unpredictable pianist and composer Matthew Bourne joins London noise duo Bone Folder at SJQ for an evening exploring texture, drone and improvisation.
Known for his exploratory and experimental sensibilities, Matthew Bourne moves between acoustic piano and analogue synthesisers, blending delicacy and virtuosity. Bone Folder, whose debut dropped in May 2026, are a guitar and bass duo dealing in subtly shifting masses of textured sound. Both share a fascination with improvisation as a transportive practice that can reshape time for performer and listener alike.
This debut collaboration will bring their complementary approaches together through individual and joint performances.
