Pip Millett comes to Luxor in Cologne on 5 October 2026, bringing her pared-back yet razor-sharp mix of contemporary R&B, neo-soul and alternative soul to the stage. Hailing from Marple near Manchester, she writes songs that feel close to the bone: loss, grief, mental health, self-love, and that slow process of getting back on one's feet, without grand gestures.
Many know her from 'Make Me Cry', which distills her sober, introspective universe to a point. Since then she has sharpened her sound with the EPs 'Do Well', 'Lost In June' and 'Motion Sick': slow tempos, clear melodies, a smoky voice that prefers storytelling to showmanship. Collaborations and the track 'Running' with Ghetts, in which identity and race are explored, show how consistently she translates personal themes into song form.
With the album 'When Everything Is Better, I’ll Let You Know' Millett moves even closer. Live, it’s likely to be a set that straddles vulnerability and stance—quiet, focused, and without a surrounding show.
