Red Rum Club land in Hull on 12 October 2026 for a show that highlights what’s made the Merseyside band stand out since forming in 2016: a tight, melodic take on alternative rock and indie, built on driving bass lines, direct guitars and chorus hooks that stick. For years, their sound was instantly tagged by the trumpet that cut through the mix with a brass bite, sometimes tipping the songs into a near-mariachi colour without losing that British rock backbone.
With a run of records that traces their growth from Matador to The Hollow of Humdrum, How to Steal the World, Western Approaches and Buck, expect a set that moves fast between punchy, singalong moments and more spacious, Americana-tinged stretches. After touring widely and hitting major UK festival stages, the band now steps into a new chapter post-2026 lineup shift, bringing that road-tested energy to Asylum.
