Fontaines D.C. are coming to Royal Arena Copenhagen on 8 November 2026, with their distinctive blend of angular rock and literary, Dublin-flavoured songwriting. The band, formed in Dublin in 2017, has a reputation for making the taut energy of post-punk feel both physical and contemplative, driven by Grian Chatten’s vocals and a band dynamic that can shift from dry, rhythmic tension to more open, noisy textures. The concert draws on the development heard from Dogrel across A Hero's Death and Skinty Fia, where the tempo slows and the mood becomes darker and more spacious, with touches of shoegaze and noise. With ROMANCE from 2024 — recorded with producer James Ford — Fontaines D.C. have pushed the expression even further away from pure post-punk and into a broader, modern rock format. Live, it means songs that bite, but also leave room for contemplative passages, so the audience is kept in motion between edge and reverberation.
