On June 24, 2027, Cardiff Castle hosts a shared bill built around two voices that sit right at the crossroads of modern UK pop and soul.
Jack Savoretti brings his Anglo-Italian storytelling to the stage: guitar-led songs, warm grooves and lyrics that lean into relationships, restlessness and that constant pull between places. Over the years his sound has opened up from intimate folk-pop to more cinematic, soul-tinted arrangements, with a Mediterranean edge that’s become part of his signature.
James Morrison follows with his mix of acoustic pop, light rock and straight-up British soul. Expect a set driven by that raspy tone, with room for ballads, mid-tempo anthems and R&B-coloured numbers, built around piano, guitar and a knack for melodies that land without trying too hard.
